Welcome to The Nautilus Center
The Nautilus Center for Mental Health is a small-by-design day treatment and extended day treatment center located in southern Massachusetts. We have brought together experts in the fields of teens, adolescence, addiction and mental health. Our team of highly trained providers has come together to address the acute mental health crisis in Massachusetts and the region.
Inspired by the concepts of resilience, relationships and recovery, we have created a multi-dimensional program that includes group therapy, individual therapy, medication management, life skills, academic support, adventure based counseling, peer supported recovery coaching, and more.
Our mission is to help you find a new direction in your becoming.

Where Growth and Healing Merge

Adolescent
Program

Young Adult
Program
The Young Adult program focuses on the specific challenges facing young adults today. Combining group and individual therapy with experiential therapies, we have created a go-to resource for young adults who may be struggling with substance use or mental health concerns.

Family
Program
We believe that mental health and substance use show up in systems. Our family program is designed to help overcome some of the barriers that family systems face when a loved one is in treatment. Our team is here to support you and your family throughout the journey.
Behavioral
& Mental Health Treatment
Though our services focus on outpatient programs, we know that each person requires a personalized plan for
recovery. A holistic approach is the most effective solution for these complicated issues. Whether it’s depression,
anxiety, self harm, mood disorders, learning disabilities, etc, our team is here to support you on your family’s journey
to recovery.
Admissions
Discreet, Attentive, and Accessible
Our team is committed to giving you the direction and answers you need to get started on this journey of recovery. We have our trained staff ready to guide you through your options for treatment and a free consultation which can help sort out which path is right for you.
Intensive Outpatient
A Program Built Around Your Needs
Our IOP program lasts between 12 and 24 weeks and can include assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, medication management with a prescriber, coaching and case management, drug testing, outdoor based therapies, and more
Relationships
Connection is the Key
Relationships are what shape our daily experiences, whether that be in family dynamics, peer groups, educational outlets, or support systems. We work to teach tools useful in creating and maintaining healthy
relationships in all these areas.

We Promote
Healing & Resilience
Recovery
Reflect, Heal, and Grow
Everyone struggles with something. If you had the ability to really heal and empower yourself with tools and skills to overcome whatever challenges you face, wouldn’t you take it? We want young people to feel secure in a path of mental, emotional, behavioral, and social recovery.
Resilience
Your Golden Ratio
We Believe in the pillars of our program; Relationships, Recovery, and Resilience. But perhaps the most important in this process is the development of resilience, which will open up the graduates of our program to, potentially, a lifelong fortitude and the ability to overcome, and bounce back from whatever life presents.

Group Therapy
Shared Struggles, Shared Victories
There is a great benefit to group therapy, which is the piece which provides connection and peer support. To know you are not the only one going through tough things is important, equally important is celebrating the victories and encouraging one another to persevere.

Teen Peer Support for Recovery
Teen peer support is an invaluable resource for any adolescent going through a substance abuse or mental health recovery program. Peer support specialists specifically, as individuals with lived experience, can provide empathetic guidance and encouragement to their peers. These specialists play an especially vital role in the recovery process, offering unique insights and empathy that professional caregivers may not possess.
Exploring DBT Treatment for Teens
One of the key benefits of DBT treatment for teens is its focus on teaching skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. These skills are particularly valuable for adolescents who may struggle with managing intense emotions, navigating relationships, and coping with stress. DBT provides practical tools and strategies that teens can use in their daily lives to improve their well-being.
Teen Mental Health Care, Find Support and Navigate Challenges
In Massachusetts, teen mental health care is a critical issue that demands our attention as families navigate challenges while seeking support. Adolescents face a myriad of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to stress and self-esteem issues. These struggles can significantly impact their daily lives, affecting their relationships, academic performance, and overall well-being.

“Persistence and resilience only come from having been given the chance to work through difficult problems.”
